Security for a New Century
Security for a New Century is an ongoing briefing series for Congressional audiences, which seeks to inform policymakers on national security and foreign policy issues. The series runs regular off the record briefings in the House and Senate, featuring leading speakers from military, US government, diplomatic and think tank communities. It is currently the only program operating inside Congress to inform personal and committee staffers from both the House and Senate, on security issues.
The program is run by two Congressional fellows: sponsored on the Senate side by Senators Richard Lugar (R-IN) and Ben Nelson (D-NE); and on the House side by Congressmen Christopher Carney (D-PA) and Mark Kirk (R-IL). READ MORE »
