Following over a year of preparations and more than twenty international consultations, the Commission on Global Security, Justice & Governance, a flagship project of The Hague Institute for Global Justice and The Stimson Center (Washington, D.C.), held the inaugural launch of its Final Report on Confronting the Crisis of Global Governance from The Hague, The City of Peace & Justice, on 16 June 2015.

The Commission’s Co-Chairs, former U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Madeleine K. Albright and former Nigerian Foreign Minister and UN Under-Secretary-General Political Affairs Dr. Ibrahim A. Gambari, presented the Commission’s chief findings and recommendations. The project has considered new frameworks for collective action on critical issues such as state fragility, climate governance, and the hyperconnected global economy and offers innovative reform proposals for tackling today’s crisis of global governance.

The Report Launch on 16 June took place in the Academy Hall of the Peace Palace, an international landmark institution of the City of The Hague.
